For the first few years before being acquired by arm hammer feline pine provided excellent results completely knocking out the ammonia smell of cat urine and lasting for a very very long time. Simply pine cat litter is biodegradable and the pine offers antibacterial properties. This pellet cat litter also has a natural pine scent to it. Pick up the poop and mix the pellets once a day.

Feline pine cat litter uses a chemical free formula. It also may be better for cats with allergies as the pellets aren t dusty like clay. Only used pine falls to the bottom. This environmentally conscious cat litter is made with 100 pure pine and gives off a naturally fresh scent.

The pellets are made from 100 northeastern white pine without chemicals or additives. My two cats have used pine litter for over 10 years and until recently without any unpleasant issues. However the pine oils are destroyed in the manufacturing process leaving the pellets safe. Some say pine pellet litter is dangerous for cats due to the pine oils contained in the wood which may cause respiratory and liver problems.

Wood pellets sometimes called wood stove fuel pellets or pellet fuel and brand names like feline pine cat litter can make a great replacement for regular cat litter and have many advantages over the traditional clay stuff. The sawdust falls to the bottom box leaving only unused pine pellets on top. The litter is kiln dried before being processed and compressed into clean sterile pellets.
